An online commere Food & Beverage brand had years of data and Google Ads campaigns. Over the span of 90 days, we focused on acquiring as much customer data as we possibly could. Once the 90 day mark was met, we had increased their ROAS by 50%, surpassing an incredibly profitable milestone which we through couldn’t be beat. As 4-5 more weeks passed, our ROAS dropped by 40%. After carefully adjusting our cata integerations we sat. back and waited. Over just 30 more days, our ROAS skyrocketed by 5.3X - That gave us 5.3X as much sales revenue for every dollar spent than before.

Our first of many big breakthroughs came when we opened up our search volume to optimize delivery towards new customers that were already in-market or customers of local competitors. As we gradually optimized these campaigns, we expanded our retargeting campaign which, in return, added nearly $30,000 in MRR alone. Once we saw massive success there, we further pinpointed our conquest niche campaign. Over time, our conquest market exploded, becoming our third-highest returning campaign at nearly 110X.

Before our latest big breakthrough, we took a look at our conversion funnel and expanded the data collection we received from every single conversion event, expanded to include non-transactional events along with their value.

In just 30 short days, our overall return in total from all campaigns reached over 6X our initial return in sales for every dollar spent - producing record high performance metrics across the board, from acquisition costs below $0.30, CVR above 35%, and nearly 7-figures in monthly sales revenue directly from Google Ads alone.

  • By month 5 of 6 of our campaign adjustments, we were officially acquiring sales at $0.26 per purchase on Google with an average order value of nearly $25.

    This gave us a massive profit margin and an ROI nearly 100x ($100 in sales for every dollar spent on Google Ads).

  • By the end of our first 60 Days following our final breakthrough, our return on ad spend across all campaigns reached impossibly high record-levels of 199X at it’s peak.

    The first 90 Days of our most recent breakthrough yielded an increase in ROAS of over 6X where it started - an increase of +70% month-over-month throughout 90 days and continues to increase steadily to this moment.

  • Over the duration of all 365 Days in 2024, we achieved several breakthrough adjustments to this brand’s Google Ads. Over the course of the last 90 Days of 2024, however, we saw an increase in monthly sales directly from Google Ads of over 60%.

    This incredible, explosive growth was achieved despite a budget that was 64% lower than our monthly spend in 2023. While over double the MRR, Our budget cut proved to only accelerate our increase in ROAS.

  • Over the span of the final 4 months in 2024, our explosive increase in performance across the board impacted every metric positively, even improving our conversion rate from 28% to nearly 40% of all landing page traffic completing a purchase.

    This meant that not only was our growth not stunted by a 64% budget cut, our monthly sales revenue doubling, our CPA shrinking to almost nothing, and our ROAS skyrocketing through the stratosphere, but we were converting nearly 58% more landing page traffic at a fraction of the cost and exponentially higher value.

  • Along with the other industry-crushing growth metrics we achieved on Google, perhaps one of the most important and difficult being our increase in new customers acquired each week.

    Throughout the first 7-8 months of 2024, we averaged between 1,000 and 1,200 new customers acquired on a weekly basis. The last 90 Days of 2024 however, this number shot up drastically to over 2,600 each week. Towards the end of December, this number reached as high as 3,150 new customers acquired in one week.

    As a business who greatly depends on market share, this rate of new customer acquisition has proven to be brand-altering up to this point.

  • At the start of 2024, our repeat customer rate of users who made 3 or more purchases each month was roughly 8% of our customer base.

    By the end of 2024, we had not only tens of thousands of more customers, but nearly 14% of them repeating monthly orders.

    This ramped up our customer LTV to over $1,000 in sales every year, with 18% surpassing $300 in sales each month. Alternatively, our sales revenue from retargeting campaigns produced an impossible ROAS of over 400x - That’s $400 in sales per dolalr spent - Up to this point, was unheard of.
